day after surgery

The alarm went off at 5am. We had all ready packed our bags, so we got dressed and headed to the hospital. Once we got there, Nicole all ready had a room, and they got her in a little yellow gown. Then the nurse started to check her blood pressure and that’s when the tears began. They brought her a little homemade bear for her to hold and love. It was real cute. It was from a local Muskogee church. It helped her so much. So once we had everything done and they were ready we heading for the OR. .


Stephen stayed in the waiting area and Me and Nicole went to Pre Op Room. They had given Nicole some Versed Syrup, that will help her relax and stay calm. Once that kicked in the put her little surgery hat on her and the nurse took her off to surgery, as I joined Stephen and Nini out in the waiting room. The surgery took 15minutes and about 20 minutes in recover. We were then join in the hall as I carried Nicole back to her room. She was crying when I got her but I told her daddy had a present and she started looked and reaching, still out of it from surgery she was able to hold her bag all the way to her room, and it was a good walk and an elevator ride. It was very cute and she was very brave, I am so proud of her. Her mouth was num and swollen and she bit her mouth real bad over and over…So we have to go to the Dr. tomorrow and get some antibiotic. The pictures I posted is Nicole inside of her mouth and her telling me it hurts. Besides that she is doing good. I just hope her mouth gets better fast. Oh yeah the presents she got was DVD: Barbie Rapunzle, Elf and Care Bear Chap stick! When she got home before daddy left she got DVD Charliet’s Webb and a Barney CD that Madison loves dancing to the songs. Madison had a blast with her Aunt Nikki and Nikki will be posting about there morning so I wont go in to that.
