A NIGHT IN THE ER

Last night around 7ck. I saw Madison with a nickel, and told her give that to me. Madison is such a good listener! I turned my head for a second, and the next thing I know...Madison was standing there truly chocking. She was not coughing making any noise and you could see she was with out oxygen. It scared me so bad, and it happen so fast. So I knew if she is not coughing it up she would need some assistants. I screamed for Stephen since he knows how to do the hemlock remover better than I could. He was in the shower so I rushed her in there as he jumped out, and then right before he started she took a breath. She had a little bit of vomit running out of her mouth during this whole process. So I undressed her and put her in the shower to get cleaned up. She was so quite and still for about 20 minutes. We started to get worried. Stephen wasn't sure if the nickel would get stuck in her bowl. So we called the night nurse and she said to the ER. She make look find but it could still be stuck. So off we went...The x-rays showed it has all ready passed her stomach and on it's way out. Now I have to watch her real close the next two days. Since she is little the nickel could get lodge and cause her to be backed up. But more an likely she will pass it with no problems. If she starts to get in a lot of pain or bleeding I am suppose to go back to the ER. This morning she woke up and is in a great mood. I just hope she poops today. Sunday night was so crazy. When we got to the ER we bumped every one waiting we got straight back to a room and before you knew it we were having the x-rays. It was great but I think some people got a little mad that they didn't go back first. OH well...Air way beats broken arm....Now I am going to clean, unpack the ER bag and think about what to cook for lunch and dinner. I will have a post about all the good things that happen this weekend and you know it about Grace Anatomy. If the kids take a nap :) Until then!!!
